A zoo near Kiev has acquired a very rare wild cat and is looking for a mate for it
A new inhabitant has appeared in the zoo "12 months" near Kiev - a female of a rare clouded leopard named Joy. The owner of the zoo, Mikhail Pinchuk, told about this on his Facebook page. According to him, now the menagerie team will try to find a pair for the cat.
Joy grew up in humans and is therefore completely tame. Due to the fact that there are so few clouded leopards, various zoo unions and programs that are against the domestication of this type of animals immediately laid their paws on them.
Joy now lives in an inner enclosure, where she has been given a space with lots of branches to climb. And from March, they will begin to overhaul the outer aviary for it.
